A CANDLELIT EVENING OF KIRTAN
Spiritual traditions have long used song, music, and sound vibration as a method of prayer to enter the realm of the divine. In the traditional path of yoga, this practice is called KIRTAN - or devotional chanting.
Govindas and Radha will guide you on a musical meditation and yogic ritual deep into the essence of Bhakti---the yoga of the Heart. Through the grace of their teachers, Govindas and Radha have uniquely melded ancient Indian mantras with western melodies, yet still playing traditional Indian instruments. Their music is described as a trance inducing mandala where the eyes close, voices and hearts open, and meditation, art, and prayer merge together as One.
Govindas and Radha's kirtan flows like a waterfall of raw emotion, their sweetness and passion permeating every chant." -JAI UTTAL

This YOGAMALA will be broken down into 4 rounds of 27 with each round infused with a specific intention, dedication, and prayer. Adding the taste of sweetness to counter the intensity of this sadhana. Govindas and Radha will elevate the devotional mood of this flowing prayer by continuously chanting the great yogic mantra Om Namah Shivaya - I bow to the Supreme Self within. This fire ritual is designed to awaken the dormant seeds of manifestation, transformation, and abundance that lie within... |
